Karmakamet Diner *A reminding flavor*

The brand Karmakamet started back in Year 2001 selling quality aromatic oil in the well known Chatuchak Weekend Market in Bangkok, Thailand. They have since expanded their business and ventured into the F&B industry.

Karmakamet Diner is located near to BTS Phrom Phrong and it's approximately 10 mins walk from the train station. Refer to the card below for its exact location. As we were not familiar with the area, it took us a while to locate it and we were on the other side of the road. It was silly of us.

"So, I figured if the entire world is one big machine, I couldn't be an extra part. I have to be here for some reason. And that means you have to be here for some reasons that has made our paths coming across...."
This is what appears on their business card. It is meaningful because it is indeed a secret world and you have to locate it. If you're lucky enough to, then you're destined to dine there and enjoy the surrounding. This is meant for tourist as I'm sure locals are well aware of their location.

The indoor dining area. Plenty of low lights, wood and steel.

We were there super early and the place was empty. We have the whole restaurant to ourselves and needless to say, we snap away on our respective cameras.

The outdoor dining area. Cushion covers that resembles burlap sacks.

Another part of the outdoor area.

Big and heavy aromatic bottles are found everywhere in the restaurants and fully labelled. Half of the restaurant is actually their aromatic shop. Shop and eat!

The waiting area

Don't you think the wall reminds you of old Chinese medicine hall?

The menu is made from burlap fabric.

If you unfold the envelope, you will find a written letter. Go there and find out who the letter was written for.

Cappuccino - Smooth and nutty flavor

Freshly Squeezed OJ - Part of the Full breakfast set

Black Coffee is also part of the Full Breakfast set. Printed table mats - newspaper

A Reminding Flavor and a thumbprint - Karmakamet's logo.

Iced Mocha

Poached Duck Eggs with Gravlax on Karmakamet Ratatouille

Full Breakfast - Bacon, Sausage, Sauteed Mushrooms, Sauteed Tomatoes, Potato Skins, Pancake with Maple Syrup,

Part of the Full Breakfast order - Fresh Fruits & Muesli

I had to share the Full Breakfast with my sister. The portion is super generous and it comes with 2 drinks. That costs us THB490 and we find the price reasonable. As for my brother, he ordered the Poached Duck Eggs and although it look small in size but it's just nice for brunch. That is only about THB290. The coffee served here are almost the same price as those from Malaysia.

It's a beautiful restaurant with very reasonable price. I think any tourist should at least come here once for a meal be it brunch or dinner.  I believe that reservation is necessary for dinner or weekends. We were there on a normal weekday hence business was a bit slow.

We love the service as the staff are very well verse in English and gave us the necessary privacy when we walked around the restaurant. We vow to come back on our next trip to try the rest of the dishes.
