Food Foundry

Food Foundry has been around for quite a number of years. When I was still living at home with my parents, they started their business with 1 shop lot and now had expanded to 3 shoplots. My first thought was that the food must be good or else they wouldn't have stayed in business for so long. I was wrong!

Pan Fried Dory on Spaghetti. The texture of the cooked spaghetti is al dente.  However, the dory fish was too sweet. Marinate too long ?

Salmon Alfredo - Bits and pieces of salmon, you can hardly taste it.

Chicken Chop - this was okay.

Stir fried Beef with Ginger and Spring Onion. This is no good. The beef used was poor quality and it stank. And they charge around RM18 or RM20 for this. Ugh!

Moist Chocolate Cake. It was not finished and woman love dessert. Enough said.

Vanilla Mille Crepe. This is okay compared to some places serving it. But I still prefer the ones at Nadeje and Humble Beginnings.

I like the ambience of Food Foundry but not the price and the poor quality food. This is supposed to be a neighbourhood cafe and they are charging a proper restaurant price. The margin is so wrong. I don't mind coming back for the dessert but definitely not for the food.
