La Boca Latino Bar, Pavilion KL

This alternate work day is making me crazy. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. My body is all weird out and not sure to rest fully or rest a little bit and get ready to work the next day. And so, today we've decided to go out after rotting at home for god knows how long.

Pavilion KL is where went for dinner and to shop a little after that. They have once again revamped the place and more eateries are mushroom-ing here. La Boca Latino Bar opened up their door for business recently and we could not resist the colourful temptation. It tempts your eyes to look at it and pulls you over to have a look see.

The menu. Ahhh Latin American cuisine. Must try.

 Colourful interior makes one happy and jolly. 

Nothing makes this place more Latin American. 

We started our meal with a tapas order. Champiñones al Ajillo. Do not be alarmed by the name of this tapas. It basically means sauteed mushrooms with garlic, olive oil and parsley. Dip the sliced baguette onto to the gravy to enjoy this.

Millanesa de Pollo. Breaded chicken cutlet cooked with tomato sauce and cheese served with salad and fries. The first thought that came to mind was, "Hey, this tastes like pizza. The only difference is the base is breaded chicken."

Inca Cod. Cod wrapped in plantain (banana) leaf served with saffron rice and caramelised plantain. First bite of the cod gives you a fragrant taste from the plantain leaf and herbs. Cod is fresh as well. However, if you're not a fan of banana, avoid this.
