New places to eat is always a treat for us. Bangkok Beat Bistro located at Empire Shopping Gallery is one of the new initiatives that is managed by creativEATeries. They also manages Suki-ya at Pavilion KL and Paradigm Mall. Suki-ya is a eat-all-you-can shabu shabu eatery.

 

Don't you just love the chic decor ? I, for one love it for it's simplicity and the use of muted colours to make the place look retro.It's all light brown, black and white. Love, love, love it.

 

Thai Milk Tea - resembles the one we had in Bangkok

 

Tom Yum Seafood Soup - simply delicious. Not too sour and not too spicy. Just nice for us.

 

Stir Fry Minced Chicken & Basil Rice - the pork option will always be better but it is not available here.

 

Bangkok Beat Mixed Grill - the chicken is absolutely good, beef is tender, prawns are fresh but the squid is a tad chewy.

 

Red Ruby Coconut Ice Cream - this dessert is to die for. I've never tasted anything this good in this combo. Maybe I'm not well travelled enough to know. But so far, this is absolutely fantastic.
