Morganfield's - Sticky Bones, Pavilion KL

It's about a makan place in Pavilion KL again, it's starting to feel like we're starting a relationship and getting serious.

Anyway, Morganfield's fairly new and most people will not notice this restaurant due to its location unless you're seated at Starbucks and glue your eyes to the TV advertisement on the big flat screen on top. They are located on Level 4, next to Watami Casual Japanese Restaurant. If you're still not sure, it's near Dome.

There was 5 of us for dinner that lovely Friday night and we opt to share the meal.

Tasty mini baguette to start

Bowl of Clams - Steamed with shrimp sauce, white wine and served with baguette. Eh, to be honest the clams are not too fresh. Gravy's not bad. Best eaten with baguette.

Sauteed Mushrooms - King mushrooms sautéed with Merlot garlic butter. This is nice and especially great for mushroom lover.

Seafood Basket - Beer-battered fish, beer-battered prawns and beer-battered calamari.
Served with coleslaw, French fries and tangy tartar sauce. The fish melts in your mouth (MUST EAT! Even for fish hater!), word of caution on the prawn (it is not DE-SHELL! bite with care) and calamari is so-so. French fries are addictive, can't stop eating those damn things!

Sticky Bones Spare Ribs (Full Slab) - Slow-cooked with hickory smoke, grilled and basted with Hickory BBQ sauce. Served with French fries and coleslaw. We all agreed that it's tasty but it would be better if there's more meat to eat.

Soft drinks are re-fillable. Service there is excellent. Wait staff are very attentive. Wide selection of wines and draft beers available. Best to go early especially on Friday nights. Packed and have to put your name on waiting list. It's always a good sign if the place is packed!
